Trisha is actually Pi's mother.

Of course she gave up that job 5 and half years ago when she went to live with my Mother & Dad. For the past 3+ years she has been the chief caretaker for my Mom.

Trisha followed Mother every where she went. If she felt that Mother was doing too much she would start circling, or paw at Mother until she stopped to pat her. She spent endless hours in Mother's lap.....

.....year after year

When Mom came home from the hospital this January, Trisha spent all her time laying on the bed with her head on Mom's chest. Trisha has never liked to be picked up, but during this time, she would scratch a leg or jump on thighs until someone would pick her up to put her next to Mom. Mother would put her arm over Trish and tell her she was a good girl. And she was. She stayed next to Mom till the end, she is a natural therapy dog and totally devoted to my Mother.
Here she is, back with Pi. When I am sitting at my computer she jumps in my lap. At night she curls herself up on my bed. I only hope we can give Trisha a happy home and that she will find a job here to fill her days.
Welcome Trish.

She is a sweetie that Trisha. She has commendeered my lap whenever she can and she is snuggly little girl.
and, as Mother said. "She's a keeper!"
Trish did bring alot of love and happiness to my big sister the past 2 years. What would we have done w/o her keeping Mom in line. Her place in Heaven will be special. Love your Blog. Bobbi
